- Duration: 3 hr Sessions, 3x a month, 18 weeks or 6 months.

Rita Hernandez Biography
Rita Hernandez is from San Antonio, with Husband Blas Hernandez and daughters Amanda Cantu and Jasmine Hernandez. Owner of Elite Fitness and Wellness, Art by Blas and Rita and Founder of Inspiration 4 Life Organization. She works with clients on Massage Therapy, Fitness, Dance Aerobics/Zumba, Guest Speaking on Inspirational, Motivational workshops, seminars, and does community outreach that promotes healthy lifestyle education and resources for the lower income demographics in San Antonio, that struggle with obesity, health issues, low self-esteem, unemployment, homelessness, and the lack of traditional resources contribute to a strong and healthy life as an individual and as a family unit. She also provides free health, fitness, wellness and charity events through her Organization Inspiration 4 Life.
Rita is a 2005 graduate of, The Academy for Massage Therapy Training, located in San Antonio, Texas. Rita has been pursuing the Health & Fitness Industry since 1993, after high school, and has been in the medical field since 1997. She has been a Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, E.R. Critical Care Technician, and an EMT-Basic, for Christus Santa Rosa Hospital, starting there with her Internship in the Endocrinology Department and working her way to the Adult and Children‘s ER, from 1997-2005. She has also worked for the S.A.I.S.D. for 11 yrs as a Substitute Teacher. Her passion to serve others, helped push her to pursue her dreams as an Entrepreneur in Business, in Massage Therapy, Health, Fitness, Wellness, and as an Inspirational and Motivational Guest Speaker for San Antonio.
Rita has been an Assistant Massage Therapist, for the WNBA San Antonio Silver Stars in 2006-07 and is currently the WNBA Seattle Storm‘s Massage Therapist, when they come to SA. She has also assisted for the PGA Tour in San Antonio, Texas and the PGA Senior Championship Tour in San Antonio 2006-2007. She has massaged cyclists with the MS 150 Bike Tour in Corpus Christi, 2006-2008, the MS 150 Bike Tour in New Braunfels in 2009 and the MS 5k walk/run in 2005. She has also done many Massage Corporate events all throughout SA and worked with Teachers of the SAISD. Rita has also had the opportunity to massage athletes that compete in the International Natural Bodybuilding Federation (INBF) and NPC Bodybuilding and assist backstage for the Alamo Classic Showdown Bodybuilding Show in San Antonio Texas.
Rita was also 3rd place winner of the KSAT 12 Fit for Life Challenge, in San Antonio and is now a Fitness Spokesperson for Guest Speaking Opportunities. Rita has also had the Honor to be a Guest Speaker for the Latina Style Magazine Business Series at the Grand Hyatt Hotel on Healthy Worker/Healthy Workplace 2010, the Healthy Start Women’s Conference 2010, Health Fairs in SA 2010 for CPS Energy and Garner Middle School and Guest Speaking for many Ministries throughout San Antonio. She has also been interviewed for Elite Fitness and Wellness, Women in Small Business and by Focus One Media on Inspiration 4 Life Organization, for all the community work she has done throughout San Antonio.
